Chimera’s new update added iOS 12.1.3 – iOS 12.4 Jailbreak support on A8 to A11 devices. However, this update does not support A12 / A12X devices. Therefore you can not jailbreak A12 /A12X devices running these versions.

Chimera jailbreak no PC – Online Method
Chimera Online Jailbreak method is available with zJailbreak, Xabsi & iExtras app stores.
- Download & install any app store to your iOS device using the above buttons. You need to provide the device passcode only.
- Then launch the downloaded App store and install the Chimera app from it.
- Before launching the app you must trust the developer profile. Go to Settings > Device & Profile Management > Trust the App.
- Now run the Chimera Jailbreak app from your device and Tap on Jailbreak to start the Jailbreak process. Keep repeating this process until it’s successful.
- Finally, you can see the Sileo app manager on your device’s home screen.
Chimera jailbreak Cydia impactor – Computer Method
- Download Chimera IPA and Cydia impactor from the above buttons.
- Connect your iPhone or iPad to the computer. Now launch Cydia impactor.
- Drag & drop the Chimera IPA on to Cydia impactor window. It is required to submit your Apple ID & Password to begin the side load process.
- Once complete the Side load process you will see the Chimera App on your device’s home screen. No trust the developer profile going through the device settings.
- Open the Chimera app and complete the Jailbreak process.
- The Sileo app will be available once you successfully complete the Chimera Jailbreak process.
Chimera Jailbreak for iOS 13 & higher
Coolstar released Chimera1n script to bring Checkra1n bootstrap on the Checkra1n jailbreak with the Chimera bootstrap to get Sileo package manager with Substitute/Libhooker-based alternative to Cydia Substrate for tweak injection. This Chimera1n deployment script for iOS 13 – iOS 13.4.1 has been published on Coolstar’s GitHub. Also, you can download the Chimera1n script easily from the Chimera1n website.
It seems the Electra team planned to release Chimera iOS 13 jailbreak very soon with this achievement.
A couple of days ago Coolstar announced Chimera 13. It is an ongoing open source project for Chimera 13 jailbreak. Chimera 13 is a Code name and it is available on coolstar’s GitHub page. It was initially to be released iOS 13 – iOS 13.3 Jailbreak for A9-A11 devices and later A12 +devices.
However, they haven’t released Chimera Jailbreak for iOS 13 & higher versions.

Why is Chimera so special?
The jailbreak tools support all iOS devices including A12 devices. Uncover, Rootless iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 jailbreak tools didn’t support iPhone 5S as well as partial support for A12 devices.
Chimera is installed Sileo automatically after the Jailbreaking process. Cydia can’t be installed automatically from Chimera. Currently, A12 devices don’t support Cydia and there is no hint about a Cydia A12 update from Saurik. Therefore Sileo is the only solution for A12 devices.
