If you’re building a new computer that is going to look as cool as it runs, browsing this list of unique PCcases is a good start. This tutorial highlights the 20 coolest PC cases you can buyin 2022.
There are a lot of cool cases to choose from in 2022, so much so that we’ve added 5 more to our existing list for a total of 20. Gamers in the market for a new PC will want to pick the case that best reflects their style, and this list has something for everyone.

Here Are 20 Coolest PC Cases In 2022

In Win D-Frame

The In Win D-Frame is a fitting case for the monster truck-lover who’s also a PC gamer. The aluminum piping that forms its open-air chassis looks great with a matching custom water cooling loop. And if you’re planning to spend nearly $400 on a case, you probably won’t be air cooling anyway.
Aside from its unique exterior, other notable features include its back-side PSU mount and sideways motherboard configuration.

AZZA Pyramid Mini 806

Artsy gamers looking for something truly unique among PC cases can’t go wrong with the Pyramid Mini 806. It’s certain to attract attention and spark up a conversation while giving the gamingroom a much-needed injection of cool.
The Mini 806 features four tempered glass side panels to view the technological artwork housed within. It supports Mini-ITX motherboards to keep the building footprint small and easy to work with. It may not be to every gamer’s tastes, but those who want to conserve space whilst jazzing up their desk have little to lose.

Cougar Conquer

The Cougar Conquer mid-tower case looks more at home in a garage than in an office and has a price tag to match. This distinct open-air PC case was released in 2017 and remains a favorite among modders.
As seen in our featured build above, this case is often painted and vinyl-wrapped to striking effect. Cable extensions are sometimes required as a result of the power supply placement.
This model is not to be confused with the newer Cougar Conquer 2, which features more RGB lighting but is less interesting to us.

Thermaltake Level 20 XT

Cube-style PC cases are hit or miss, but Thermaltake got it right with the Level 20 XT. This illustrious case can fit standard M-ATX motherboard and CPU coolers up to 185mm in height. It can also house twin 240mm radiators and large fan options for excellent cooling capabilities.
Level 20’s horizontal motherboard layout makes placing components a breeze and helps prevent common issues associated with vertical layouts such as video card sag. Additionally, there’s plenty of room to work within the case, and its modular nature delivers lots of options for particular PC builders.

Lian-Li O11 Dynamic

20 Coolest PC Cases You Can Buy In 2021
Visually striking and capable of great airflow, it’s no surprise that Lian-Li’s O11 Dynamic is perhaps the most popular case on our list. This high-end chassis is ideal for water cooling but is equally functional in a strictly air-cooled build. It has mounting points for a bevy of radiators and fans.
Our favorite quirk of this case is its uniquely partitioned layout. The chassis is separated into two parts: a showcase section for the motherboard, fans, and associated components, and then a section behind the motherboard that hides the cables, and drives, and has support for two power supply units.
There’s only a handful of enthusiasts who would use two PSUs in a mid-tower case but it’s a unique feature nonetheless. Another cool and more practical feature worth mentioning is its support for a vertical GPU mount.

Corsair Obsidian 1000D

If you’ve ever heard yourself muttering the phrase “you can never have too many fans,” then the Obsidian 1000D is for you. Corsair’s behemoth does a lot more than keep your computer frosty – it pulls double-duty on two machines, at once!
Yes, you heard right. This is a dual-system case, which means that, theoretically, you could have a gaming PC and a rendering rig under the same hood, at the same time. The inclusion of 18 fan mounts and support for radiators up to 480mm means premiere cooling, but don’t be surprised if your electrical bill soars!

Thermaltake Tower 900

This “super tower” Tower 900 by Thermaltake is huge and heavy, weighing in at 54 lbs. It has ample room for custom liquid cooling and large glass panels to show it all off. The Tower 900 also has a very unique motherboard layout with top-facing I/O ports and a 5.25″ bay in the front that looks great with a fan controller installed. We wish more cases supported this.

Thermaltake Core P5 V2

Thermaltake-Core-P5-V2-1024x682.jpg
The design of the Thermaltake Core P5 V2 is not particularly unusual. What makes this case unique is where it can go. The Core P5 V2 can stand upright, lay horizontally, and best of all, hang on a wall.
Wall-mounted cases aren’t as easy to service but are worthwhile aesthetically, especially when you take the time to route cables through your wall as was done in our featured build. The Core P5 V2 comes with a lot of functionality that we love, including two optional motherboard mounting orientations, vertical GPU support, and great cable management around the back along with room to mount three additional hard drives.
Thermaltake’s Core P-series cases also come in various sizes and forms. Check out the P3 for a more compact ATX case and the P1 for a Mini ITX version.

Phanteks Evolv Shift X

Phanteks-Evolv-Shift-X-1024x576.jpg
It looks like a piece of Forerunner technology from the Halo franchise, but the Evolv Shift X is an excellent little PC case designed specifically for home theater setups. As such, it can fit right in with your existing video and audio tech.
The narrow design of the case means it can handle only Mini-ITX motherboards, but that’s hardly an issue these days. Its height allows it to handle a lot of components, including liquid cooling setups, making it a great choice for those who want to save some space, and look cool while doing it.

Cooler Master H500P Mesh

If airflow trumps all, the H500P Mesh might be worth a second look. This case can even handle 360mm radiators in the front and top – proof that Cooler Master isn’t skimping on its namesake.
The clear view design of the case makes it easy to show off your build, your fans, and even liquid cooling loops. RGB lighting does a lot to bring the case alive, too. A case for those who want maximum cooling options.

Lian-Li TU150

Lian-Li-TU150-1024x1024.jpg
The TU150 is another elegant, unassuming case from Lian-Li’s fine hardwaredesigners in Taiwan. This is the first case on our list to include a retractable carrying handle — perfect for the few proud folks who still organize LAN parties or for the traveling professional who can’t accept the performance compromises of a laptop.
The TU150 is big for a small form factor PC case but at around 24 liters, that added volume allows it to fit a beefy GPU along with CPU air coolers as large as the NH-D15. While this isn’t the most unique PC case on our list, it’s a functional and balanced little case that is priced reasonably.

Antec Cube

If you like the idea of a compact cube case setup but aren’t happy with modern options, the Antec Cube might change your mind. Razer partnered with Antec to create this strikingly cool ATX case that is head and shoulders above its peers in terms of style and functionality.
The Cube is so well designed that it may fool a lot of folks into thinking they’re limited when it comes to builds. In truth, it can handle GPUs as long as 350mm, it has liquid cooling support, and its HDD mounts are cleverly designed to maximize available space.

InWin 309

Looking like something out of a Synthwave music video, InWin’s 309 takes the concept of expression through lighting and cranks the dial until it falls off. This is perhaps one of the most spectacular PC cases on the market – if you can handle all that color!
The case’s most stunning feature is the front panel, comprised of 144 addressable LED lights, with a total of 12 lighting modes to choose from. GLOW2 software allows you to create pixel-based creations on the panel by toggling individual LEDs, and their colors. It even has a built-in mic that can detect music and “dance” to the rhythm!

Streacom DB4

Streacom-DB4-1024x683.jpg
Streacom-DB4-1024x683.jpg
Streacom’s DB4 is classic, understated, and silent. Custom heat pipes connect the CPU to the case’s thick aluminum side panels to passively cool your computer. This is one of the first popular consumer cases to pull double duty as a low TDP heatsink.
For the uninitiated, that means this case acts as your CPU cooler and requires no fan. Heat passively dissipates through the high surface area aluminum fin design of the exterior and allows your PC to run completely silently.
Streacom rates the DB4 for a CPU with a max TDP of 65W. Although this limits your CPU selection to lower power offerings, there are some stellar new 4000-series processors from AMD and very promising Intel parts on the horizon. Both should perfectly complement this case.

Thermaltake View 71 Tempered Glass ARGB Edition

There’s something strangely elegant and classy about Thermaltake’s amazing View 71. Perhaps it’s all that tempered glass, but we think it’s more about the company’s approach to a modular design.
View 71 is one of Thermaltake’s absolute-best cases. It allows for a myriad of options when building a gaming PC, and there’s practically nothing one can’t accomplish with it. Lots of care was taken to allow for multiple build configs, and the transparent approach to case design is a great way to show off your rig.

Thermaltake Core P90 Tempered Glass Edition

Thermaltake-Core-P90-Tempered-Glass-Edition.jpg
Thermaltake-Core-P90-Tempered-Glass-Edition.jpg
Thermaltake scores another hit on our list thanks to the P90 Tempered Glass Edition. Its futuristic open-concept design looks like something straight out of a sci-fi movie, especially if your build is sporting the coolest parts. Its main attraction is the 3-way placement layout, which is a bit abstract to say the least, but perfectly suited for out-of-the-box PC enthusiasts.
Like most of Thermaltake’s cases these days, modular functionality is a key factor. You can do practically anything with the P90, from hanging it on your wall to adding a riser card for vertical GPU setup, and everything in between. Certain to give your friends the jellies!

NZXT H1

The XboxSeries X isn’t the only upright rectangular gaming box on the block. The NZXT H1 rocks the unique vertical layout with high material quality at a price point that makes it easy to recommend. At 13.5 liters, this case is a bit bigger than an Xbox Series X but is still very small among desktop computer cases and offers a decent balance between noise and thermals.
It comes with a 650W gold-rated power supply and an AIO liquid cooler, and like so many of the smaller cases do these days, it also ships with a PCIe riser cable so that you can mount your GPU around the back of the motherboard.

Lian Li DK-05F Desk Case

We scratched the surface of a dual-purpose PC case earlier with the Cryorig Taku, the monitor stand/computer case. A desk PC case takes that to another level. The Lian Li DK-05F can fit two separate systems and is fully motorized to be adjusted for sitting or standing.
It includes multiple optional mounting brackets around the back so you can install a monitor arm cleanly, and more impressively, the smart glass top panel can be switched from clear to a foggy opaque with the touch of a button.

Be Quiet! Silent Base 801

Be-Quiet-Silent-Base-801.jpg
If the name of your company is “Be Quiet!”, you’d better have what it takes to live up to it. Thankfully, the Silent Base 801 does exactly that. The traditional design of the case is flanked by some elegant lines and a lovely orange accent to spice the build-up a bit, but the good doesn’t stop there.
The case is designed to minimize as much noise as possible and does so with a combination of insulation mats, noise dampening vents, and preinstalled 140mm Pure Wings 2 fans which are optimized for quiet, efficient airflow. There’s a lot more to this elegant case than meets the eye, which should be enough for any gamer to take a second look!

Cougar Gemini X Dual-System Case

More advanced gamers with a lot of cash to spend might be interested in the Cougar Gemini X, a wicked-looking case that can handle not one, but two separate PC builds in one frame. This is great for gamers who may wish to take advantage of a secondary system for dedicated video production, content streaming, or music production.
The 3mm thick aluminum chassis is super-strong and comes with tempered glass panels for the ultimate in build quality. A dual airflow system, clever cable management, and plenty of space for twin machine components make this one of the coolest and most versatile PC cases currently on the market.
