But sometimes, you may not want people to have access to your bookmarks for one reason or two.
Officially, the Google Chrome browser doesn’t allow you to hide the Bookmarks bar. However, we’ve managed to compile some methods you can use to hide or show your Bookmarks bar on your PC.
To hide the Bookmarks bar on Google Chrome, follow the steps below:
- Launch your Chrome browser.
- Locate the bookmarks bar under the address bar at the top of the screen.
- Right-click the bar, and a drop-down menu will show up.
- Navigate to the “Show Bookmark Bar” option and click on it to make the tick mark disappear and the bookmark bar.
To show the bookmarks bar in Google Chrome, here’s how:
- Launch your Chrome browser.
- Locate the Three-dots at the top-right corner of your screen and click on them.
- You’ll see a drop-down menu, tap on the Bookmarks option.
- Now, select “Show Bookmark bar.” You can also use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + B.
