How To Enable Flying In On Android And iPhone

Using Minecraft PE on your Android or iPhone offers you limited options for flying. You can either find Elytra or use a cheat code. So if you want to save yourself from the trouble of going to End City, you can fly with the help of cheats.

How To Enable Flying In Minecraft Survival Mode On PS4 and Xbox One

Minecraft lets you fly in Survival mode only if you set the game mode to Creative. However, once you decide to enable the cheats, a new LAN world will become active. In the new world, the codes will enable flying, teleportation, generating any block, etc.

How To Enable Flying With A Command

  • Open the main menu.
  • Select “Settings.”
  • On the right side, scroll down until you get to the “Cheats.”
  • Turn the cheats on and exit.

When you change your Minecraft world mode, you can use a cheat code to fly. To fly, jump twice or use “F12” to make you jump higher and start flying. Using jump and sneak buttons, you can control whether you’re flying high or low and let you land safely when you’re close to your destination.

Note that, while you have the cheats on, players connected to your world will not get any credit for any accomplishment in Minecraft. 

How To Enable Flying In Minecraft Single Player Commands

To enable flying in single-player command, you’ll need to use a different syntax to enable flying. “Mayfly” is a command suitable for checking the player’s ability to fly. To set player’s ability to fly, you should type “/ability <player’s name> <true/false>.”

To run a command in Minecraft, all you need to do is press “T” to open the window and type any command. Or follow these steps.

  • Press the “T” and open the chatbox.
  • Type “/ability @player mayfly true.”
  • Click “Enter” to run the command.
  • The command is activated when you see it in the lower-left corner.
  • When you see “Ability has been uploaded” in the left corner, you’re now enabled to fly.
