However, before deleting the app, you will need to first follow some steps to delete your profile. In this guide, we will be lecturing you on how to delete your Grindr account.
How to Delete a Grindr Account on Android
We will be talking about getting rid of the Grindr accounts on both Android and iOS devices. However, if you’re an iOS user, just scroll down to how to delete on iOS and skip this:
- Launch your Grindr application on your Android device.
- Click your Profile icon located at the top right corner on the main screen.
- On the displayed profile menu, kindly tap the yellow Settings at the bottom or tap your profile picture to access your Grindr app settings.
- Now, locate and click the gray gear icon at the top right corner of the screen.
- Then, click on Deactivate and select Delete Account on the next page.
- You will now see the list of reasons you want to delete a Grindr account. Choose the one that suits your reason, or click Skip.
- Then, enter your email address in the space provided to verify your account.
- A warning message that says “all of your information will be permanently removed from Grindr’s system.” will appear on the screen, then click the Delete Account within this dialog box to confirm the deletion.

- Then, click on the profile icon on the main screen.
- Next, locate and choose the gear icon at the top right corner of the displayed screen.
- Finally, at the bottom of the menu, select Delete Profile.
