Hardware Monitoring Tools to Use While Running Stress Tests

1. Core Temp
Core Temp is a portable CPU monitoring tool that will deliver real-time temperature readings and load percentages on your processor.
If there is an Intel processor, It will provide readings for the temperature and load on each core on your CPU.

Core Temp also gives you some basic information about your processor and lets you know the voltage and frequency your CPU is running.
You can monitor the temperatures and load on your GPU and your GPU’s clock speed, onboard memory clock speed, fan speed, and the amount of memory being used, among other things, with GPU-Z.
3. MSI Afterburner
MSI Afterburner is a graphics card hardware monitoring tool. It provides you same information GPU-Z offers you.

CPU Stress Test Tools

Prime95 essentially uses the CPU to find Mersenne prime numbers, which activates a heavy workload on the CPU.
If Prime95 runs for 6 hours without interruption, it shows that the CPU is good and will not have issues over its usable lifetime.
2. Aida64 (PAID )
AIDA64 is not free, and it offers a System Stability Test which can stress everything from the CPU to RAM to the GPU.

It will notify you if the CPU starts slowing down when the temperatures are too high, and if this happens, it is recommended to confirm if the CPU cooler is installed correctly.
3. IntelBurn Test

2. 3DMark (Stress Test Tool)
3DMark monitors the clock speed, framerate, load, and temperatures during each test. It has a basic edition that is free to use, while the full version costs $30
3. FurMark Stress Test Tool
FurMark’s reputation does not attract much love due to the unrealistic amount of stress it puts on the graphics card. You can only use it for short periods.
