Method 2: Unplug Power Cable Set-Top Box

Next, pull out everything plugged in, including the smart card/viewing card, and let the cable box cool. Do it firmly without much pressure. After calming the TV down, you can reinsert the card with the chip facing downward, following any visible arrows.

Method 3: Contact your cable Manufacturer

Contacting your cable manufacturer is easy, but it can take time, depending on your provider. Once you’ve tried the two methods and the problem persists.
