As with all jailbreaks over the past couple of years, this is also a semi-tethered jailbreak. This means whenever you reboot your device you will need to follow step 6 of the below guide to restore all jailbreak features. This is very easy though so isn’t a big problem. This new jailbreak is compatible with all devices that can run iOS 11. As with most jailbreaks released over the last few years, this one can also be achieved without a computer simply by downloading the Electra app from a website such as Tweakbox or AppValley. You should make sure to back up your device to iCloud or iTunes before attempting this.
Note: Cydia Impactor is currently not working, and apps won’t install. Use AltStore instead.
- Download the app for iOS 11.0 – iOS 11.4.1 IPA file onto your computer and download Cydia Impactor from here. After downloading your IPA file and installing Cydia Impactor, connect your device to your computer using a USB cable. Next, launch/open Cydia Impactor and drop the IPA file downloaded onto your Cydia Impactor.
- Cydia Impactor will require your Apple ID and password, which can only be verified by Apple and is used to sign the IPA file. If you’re not comfortable providing it, create an alternative Apple ID and use it instead.
- Jailbreak iOS 11 with Electra Download, Once the sideloading process is completed, open Settings on your iDevice and go to General > Device Management. Tap on Trust and confirm the profile associated with Electra download. Next, open Electra download from the app drawer and tap the Jailbreak button to begin the jailbreak process. Make sure to enable the Tweaks option before jailbreaking. It will allow Electra download to install Anemone on your device as well.

Sorry, Electra Jailbreak can not be used without installing the files manually from the .deb, and .theme folder downloaded on your computer. It will also take some time for developers to update their tweaks to be compatible with iOS version 11.
