Spotify will then give you reasons why you should hang on to your premium account. It lists all the benefits of having a premium subscription.

You will also get a form that will ask you for the reason you are canceling. After giving a reason for cancellation on the form click the “Submit” button.

That’s all there is to it. You are now canceled from your Spotify Premium subscription. You can still use the premium features until the date given which is one day before the next billing date. So, it makes the most sense to cancel your subscription right after your billing date.

That way you can continue to use the premium features for a full 30 days until the subscription expires.

If you want to renew your subscription, it’s easy enough. Just scroll down to the Spotify Premium section of the Your Account page and click the “Renew Premium” button.

Or, just continue to use the free plan until you are ready to renew the subscription again later.
