How To Take A Screenshot On Dell Laptops And Computers
There are several ways to take a screenshot on any Windows computer. You can screenshot using the Print Screen key or Snipping Tool.
Method 1: The Print Screen (Prt Sc) Combos
Dell typically labels this key “PrtScnor “prt sc(though the exact label may vary from model to model) and is found along the top row of keys. In addition, on most Dell laptops, you’ll find the Print Screen key beside the Delete key.
If you want to capture the entire screen in one go, press the Windows key and Prt Sc key simultaneously. Your screen will flicker for a second, meaning that it has successfully taken a screenshot.
Method 2: Screenshot with Snipping Tool on Dell Laptop
Snipping Tool is an alternative tool to screenshot on laptops and computers. This built-in Windows feature allows you to capture your screen in different shapes. To go to the Snipping Tool, click on the Start Menu and type ‘Snipping Tool’ in the search section. The application will appear with a variety of options at your disposal.
Select ‘New’ or press ‘Ctrl + N’ together. However, the rectangular snip is the default option, but you can choose the shape you want to capture your screenshot.
