Furthermore, this error message persists even after clearing up some storage space, removing unnecessary data, and deleting unused apps. However, there’s nothing to worry about. We’ve compiled ways to fix the issue.

How to Fix It When Fire Stick Is Low on Storage

1. Clear the cache.

One of the easiest ways to free up space on your Fire device is by clearing the cache for each all you’ve installed on it. All installed applications have a file that stores cache files, so our best-recommended method to free up space is by clearing each app’s cache.

2. Delete Apps

Secondly, before you could be received this kind of error message, there are a lot of apps on your device. Try to locate some that occupy so many spaces and delete them to free up some space.
If you have a lot of apps on your Fire Stick, the best way to free up space is to delete ones you don’t use anymore. However, some apps take up more space than others, so you may have to delete several, or you may only have to delete one.

3. Reset to Factory Defaults.

This is the best way to get rid of the error message. A factor default is the same as a new Fire device. So, we suggest you reset your device to factory default. Here’s how :
  • Make your way into the Settings in your Fire Stick Home Screen.
  • Click on the System section on the right of the screen.
  • Navigate downward to locate and click on Reset to Factory Defaults.
  • You’ll receive a warning message, “You are about to reset your Fire TV to its original factory settings. Your sign-in information and personal preferences will be lost”.
  • Now, click on the Reset button.
Note: This method will erase all your data from the device, so we suggest you do a backup first.
