Call forwarding is a procedure through which Cricket customers send their incoming calls to a wireless or a landline number within the local exchange. This article shows you how to forward a Cricket phone.
Note: To forward with Cricket Wireless, you’ll need your unique forwarding number. If unsure of your forwarding number, look for your Trial Activation Email or contact your Abby Connect CSM.
How to Forward a Cricket Phone
There are different type of call forwarding on Cricket. However, we will talk about them one after the other.
Activate Unconditional Call Forwarding

- Dial *72 followed by your forwarding number.
- Press the SEND button.
- The call should connect. You will hear two quick beeps and the call will disconnect.
Deactivate Unconditional Call Forwarding
- To deactivate, dial *720.
- The call should connect. You will hear two quick beeps and the call will disconnect.
- Call Forwarding is disabled.
Activate Busy Line Call Forwarding
- Dial *73 on your phone and enter the 10-digit phone number that you want your calls to be forwarded to.
- Push the “Send” button, and your call will then end automatically after you hear a tone. You will then receive all of your calls on the selected number.
Deactivate Busy Line Call Forwarding
- Dial *730 and press “Send” if you no longer want to use the feature.
- Then, your call will terminate right after you hear a tone and you will then receive regular calls on the Cricket number.
Activate Call Forwarding No Answer
- Dial *74 on your phone and enter the 10-digit phone number that you would like to have your calls forwarded to.
- Press the button that says “Send.” You will then hear a tone, after which your call will end automatically. All your calls will then be forwarded to the number you chose.
Deactivate Call Forwarding No Answer
- To deactivate, dial *740.
- The call should connect. You will hear two quick beeps and the call will disconnect.
- Call Forwarding is disabled.
