  • Locate and push the Windows logo key and, at the same time, on your keyboard. This will invoke the Settings App.
  • Click Update & Security.
  • On the left side of your screen, click Recovery.
  • Select Get Started under Reset this PC.
  • You’ll be presented with two options, choose any one of your choices.
  • If you choose to Keep My File, you’ll see Getting things ready on your screen.
  • Click Next to continue.
  • Now, click Reset when you’re ready to reset.

  • Launch the Settings app on your laptop.
  • Click Update and recovery on the left.
  • Choose Recovery on the left.
  • You’ll see two options to factory reset your laptop:
  • Wait for your laptop to get ready.
  • Now, follow the on-screen instructions to finish it up.

  • Firstly, turn off your device and remove any connected external device.
  • Press the power button and hold the 0 (zero) key until you see a Recovery Warning message.
  • Select the Operating System if prompt.
  • Then, select the recovery process you want, such as Recovery of Factory Software, and follow the prompts.
