You can also rotate text in text boxes and add a colorful feature to the text. This can be just what you need to add emphasis to your project. First, however, you can add a text box using the “Text” tool and select the target text to apply the “Rotate” function.
We take Rotating text for granted as super simple in other editing programs. As you would normally add text as a layer, you can customize it to your heart’s content. However, with MS Paint, you don’t use layers, so you have to work a little more complicated.

How to Rotate Text Boxes In MS Paint
Select the Home tab at the top.

Select the Select tool in the Ribbon and draw a box around the text.
Step One: Click the “Text” tool from the Tools group in the Home tab to add text to the canvas.
Step Two: Tap and drag the mouse to draw a text box on the canvas.
Step Three: Type the text you want to appear in the text box. You can set the text’s font, color, and size in the Text Tools section.
Step Four: Tap the “Select” button from the Image group in the Home tab.
Step Five: Drag the mouse over the text you want to rotate after clicking it. Select those texts you want to rotate and leave the rest in-selected in the original orientation.
Step Six: In the Home tab, choose the “Rotate” option and click one of the rotation methods in the drop-down list. You will see five different types of directions you can rotate the text.
Step Seven: Check the rotated text shown on the canvas. Re-select and rotate the text as you wish.
